A Look Back: Our 2007 Tournament
The 2007 Edward M. Skawinski Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region was held on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the Fairways of Halfmoon and was a great success as usual! 72 golfers participated to help us raise over $4000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region. Thanks again for your support! You can view photos from the 2007 tournament in our Photo Gallery.

Why We Do This
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is clear: make a positive difference in the lives of children, primarily through professionally supported relationships with caring mentors, and assist children in achieving their greatest potential as they grow to become confident, competent and contributing individuals.
This tournament is sponsored and organized by Diamond Eight Billiards in memory of its founder, Edward M. Skawinski, who passed away in August of 2000. Ed believed in the importance and strength of family, and, in turn, believed in the calling of Big Brothers Big Sisters to enhance the lives of children through family-like activities and experiences.
